Toro Park is one of our absolute favorite places to photograph portrait sessions in Monterey County. When Steve & Danielle McShane had contacted us to shoot some family photos for them, we absolutely knew that this would be the perfect location.
Burrowed along the Monterey/Salinas Highway 68, Toro Park really has it all. From the great trails throughout the park where you can either run or hike, or have a picnic on the many lawns; it is such a great place to bring your family for some quality time.
We had previously photographed the McShane family about a year ago when their daughter was first born. However, they knew that kids grow so fast and wanted updated photos of their awesome family!
Steve and Danielle’s love story started when they had met some years back on the East Coast when they were both in Washington DC. Steve was out there lobbying for the city of Salinas and Danielle was there for a non-profit board that she was serving on.
Both Steve and Danielle know our story and we had asked him now that he has kids, what is it like to be a parent? He said “Being Parents has been the most incredible gift we could have ever imagined. Bedtime is probably the best time of all as we read books, take baths and pray.
Seriously you guys, isn’t their family the cutest?
We know family is everything and we asked them what does family mean to them? “Family no matter what, is the ultimate blessing.” Isn’t that the truth!?
“We want to thank Tee and Rebecca Lambert from Tee Lambert Photography for such a very special session with our family. We met them through church and knew immediately that their patience and commitment capturing just the perfect family moment would be everlasting”
Thank you so much Steve and Danielle! We absolutely love your family and can’t wait to make more of these memories for you both!
